An aquarium tour by Gil Falcone will follow the seminar. Please meet by the members' entrance of the aquarium (guest passes are available if arranged beforehand with John Wolfe).

This July the SeaDoc Society is sponsoring an amateur underwater photography contest for the inland marine waters of Washington and British Columbia, an area often called the Salish Sea. The contest will be coupled with the Reef Environmental Education Foundation’s (REEF) Great Annual Fish Count and entry is free. Any diver who conducts and submits a REEF survey during the month of July will be eligible to submit one photograph taken during that survey.

The Dive Club of Silicon Valley is sponsoring a Fish ID Dive on Saturday, July 12 beginning at 7:30 am at Lovers Point Beach, Pacific Grove. A BBQ will start at noon.
Join Charleston Scuba Thursday, July 17th and 7pm for Fish ID Seminar with guest speaker, James Brooke, a REEF Advanced Assessment Team. Participants in the Fish ID Seminar will receive $10 off Friday's Charter.
Join Charleston Scuba Friday, July 18 at 7am for a Great Annual Fish Count Fish ID Dive! The two dive sites include Y73 Wreck (80-100 feet) and Gardens Reef (90 feet). Participants who attended the previous day's Fish ID seminar will receive $10 off the charter!
The Greater LA Council of Divers is holding its Annual Fish ID survey dive at Malaga Cove with the Dive N'Surf Dive Team on July 19.
This 6th annual event takes place at Stage Fort Park, Gloucester, MA and Nubble Light in York, ME.
The celebration will be centered around Cape Ann, along with dives at Nubble Light. There will be a picnic, free raffles and door prizes. Every survey form submitted after each dive will count as an entry into the raffles for each diver.
Identify and count fish at Biscayne National Park as part of the Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF)’s Great Annual Fish Count (GAFC). After a free morning seminar on how to conduct REEF fish surveys held at Biscayne National Park's Dante Fascell Visitor Center, the afternoon will be dedicated to putting your new fish identification skills to use during a reduced-price dive/snorkel trip to two of the park’s coral reefs.
