This 6th annual event takes place at Stage Fort Park, Gloucester, MA and Nubble Light in York, ME. The celebration will be centered around Cape Ann, along with dives at Nubble Light. There will be a picnic, free raffles and door prizes. Every survey form submitted after each dive will count as an entry into the raffles for each diver. Start: 12:00 am
The Greater LA Council of Divers is holding its Annual Fish ID survey dive at Malaga Cove with the Dive N'Surf Dive Team on July 19. Start: 12:30 pm
Identify and count fish at Biscayne National Park as part of the Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF)’s Great Annual Fish Count (GAFC). After a free morning seminar on how to conduct REEF fish surveys held at Biscayne National Park's Dante Fascell Visitor Center, the afternoon will be dedicated to putting your new fish identification skills to use during a reduced-price dive/snorkel trip to two of the park’s coral reefs. | ||

Taken a REEF class and want to try your hand at doing a few surveys? Done lots of surveys and want to find new fish-geek friends and have fun? Never done a survey or taken a class but just want to see what all this REEF fuss is about? Join us on Saturday, July 26th for a day of fun diving, surveying, identifying critters and BBQ! Do as few or as many dives as you like. We won't plan your dives for you, (that's your job) but will tell you that it's a great day current-wise and slack hits about 12:30pm. (about 30 min prior to Admiralty Head is slack before ebb at Keystone) Start: 8:30 am
July is just around the corner. Time again for the Great Annual Fish Count. Please join FIN, the Fish Identification Network, at Kapalua Bay on July 26 at 8:30am. We could use some help here! Terri and I can get the fish to line up in a row. But we need you to come count them.
