Description: Put your fish and invertebrate ID skills to use by participating in diving to count fish and invertebrates at Lover's Point Beach as part of REEF's Great Annual Fish Count. You are welcome to join in two other GAFC events sponsored by the Dive Club of Silicon Valley as well: the June 17th Invertebrate ID class and the July 1st Fish ID class. Divers are REQUESTED to PRE REGISTER with the contact person in order to be certain of numbers.

Our wish is that you do a fish survey and submit your data to REEF.

A Fish ID seminar will be arranged at a time convenient to the participants, at no cost to you.

NE Great Annual Fish Count - NEADC

Date of event: July 26th, 2013 Location: Stage Fort Park, Gloucester, MA Register by visiting http://www.neadc.org/gafc/

This will be the 13th year for the event, which is consistently the largest single-day fish count in the country!  Dives will be conducted all over New England in the morning, then divers will meet at Stage Fort Park for a BBQ, raffle prizes and to tally the survey numbers. 

There will be a New England fish ID course at our general meeting on July 16th.  The meeting is open to everyone, more info at http://www.neadc.org
