Does anyone know what these are. In large schools in caves in St Lucia.

Those are indeed Copper Sweeper, but the common standard name that REEF uses (based on American Fisheries Society names) is Glassy Sweeper.
There is another sweeper that you can see in the Caribbean, the Shortfin Sweeper, but they lack the dark stripe at the base of the anal fin.
