Green Sea Turtles can live to be more than 100 years old. They live in the Tropical Western Atlantic, Hawaii, Tropical Eastern Pacific, Central Indo-Pacific, South Pacific, and South Atlantic States, in reef and seagrass habitats. These turtles feed on craps, jellyfish, worms and sponges as juveniles and seagrasses and algae as adults. Green Sea Turtles are Endangered. They are hunted and accidentally caught as bycatch. Other threats to their population include habitat degradation and ocean acidification.
