Neptune Memorial Reef

I took this photo a couple of weeks ago on the Neptune Memorial reef just off Miami.  It is some kind of trigger fish or file fish.  ID help needed.

Gray Triggerfish

Nick,

Gray Triggerfish are common in south florida, you got the identification right!!!

Thanks

Thanks for the confirmation, I figured if I had managed to see it then it couldn't be too rare.

 Nick.

Neptune Reef

Looks like a gray triggerfish

Grey Trigger Fish

Yes, I thought it was a grey triggerfish from the description in my fish ID book but it looks nothing like the picture (pg395 in Reef Fish Identification).  I put it on my survey as 'Grey Triggerfosh' but was concerned as it is indicated as 'rare' i.e. shaded dark.  I wonder just how rare it really is?
