Last week while diving the north side of Cayman Brac, my wife and I saw a fish about 1" long best described as a short version of the Guitar Fish photographed in DeLoache's Reef Fish of the Caribbean. Our subject and DeLoache's Guitar Fish appeared to be the same thing EXCEPT for the size difference. It was in about 20' of water, resting on an alge mat at the base of a basketball sized coral head in the hard pan. It was not disturbed by our prescence. Oh, and of course, my Olympus was on the boat. Any ideas?
