I am useless when it comes to tiny fish who live on the sand. This fish is an inch or two. I photographed it March 11, buoy M-2, Molasses Reef, Key Largo, Florida, 74 degrees, 29 feet.
This is most likely a Colon goby, Coryphopterus dicrus.
