These photos are from Saturday, May 31, 2014, on the Benwood, Key Largo, Florida, +/- 40 feet, 80 degrees. I put my opinion as to species next to each photo. There are four photos of a total of three fish. How did I do?
#1 is a Glasseye Snapper, see my article here; http://www.bluewaterphotostore.com/blog/photo/caribbean-creature-feature-the-glasseye-snapper/
#2 is a juvenile Spanish Hogfish (they act as cleaner fish)
#3 is, in fact, a Saucereye Porgy
Hope that helps,
Jonathan "Fish Geek" Lavan
One out of three isn't so great, but it is how I learn, and I am deeply grateful for you help.
