The Florida Oceanographic Society (FOS) REEF Field Station is again hosting their GAFC event on July 18, 2014 at Bathtub Reef in Stuart, Florida. At 10 am we will conduct a Fish ID course of the Top 25 fish found at Bathtub Reef at the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center (890 NE Ocean Blvd. Stuart, FL 34996). Instruction will be provided by REEF instructor Lureen Ferretti. Following the course, we will then head down to Bathtub Beach (1585 SE MacArthur Blvd. Stuart, FL 34996) to conduct our REEF fish count (snorkel only; we will start the survey at 1pm) over one of the largest saballeriid worm reef systems in the southeastern US.

The Fish ID course will take approximately 1-1.5 hours and we will be in the water ~2 hours. To learn more about FOS please visit www.floridaocean.org.
