Cost Per Person: Cabin $2,495 (double occ), (one female share space available in forward Cabin#11 with skylight, $1,895)
What is included: Your package includes 7 nights onboard the Aqua Cat luxury liveaboard in an ocean view cabin, all meals (except dinner Friday night), snacks and beverages including rum, beer, & wine, 6 days of diving in the Northern Exumas (up to 5 dives per day including night dives and 2 dives on the last day), tanks, weight and weight belts, all shore excursions, transfers to/from airport.
Additional fees: A REEF Program Fee of $300 per diver will be added to each package to cover the cost of the group leaders, seminar and survey materials. Other fees to be paid to REEF prior to departure include: a port tax $100/pp, Underwater Park Visitor Fee $10/pp, and Fuel Surcharge $90/pp (fuel surcharge subject to change). Nitrox (32%) available on board for extra $150/pp for the duration of the trip. Friday night dinner ashore on participant’s own.
Airport/hotel transfer information: Participants will fly into/out of Nassau (NAS) The Bahamas International Airport. From there participants will be transported to the Aqua Cat at Hurricane Hole Marina on Paradise Island, a 25 minute drive. Participants may drop bags off at the boat prior, but boarding for the Aqua Cat is at 6:00pm on Saturday. Participants will disembark the Aqua Cat on the following Saturday by 9:00am.

About the trip leader: Since becoming a member nearly a decade ago, Heather George has conducted hundreds of REEF surveys throughout the world, and is a member of the Advanced Assessment Team in the Tropical Western Atlantic and Hawaii. Through the years, she has conducted fish identification trainings for dive shops and aquaria and has led several REEF Field Survey Trips. In 2011, Heather assisted with the expansion of the Volunteer Fish Survey Project to the South Pacific as part of the field team to American Samoa. She served on the Board of Trustees for 5 years and received REEF’s Volunteer of the Year Award in 2011.
