Is this a Silver Jenny?
Taken June 2014 Roatan West beach
The Mojarra family in the genus Eucinostomus is always difficult to ID because they are so similar even when all their fins are flared. I could give you a guess but I wouldn't even be 25% certain. Sometimes the best you can do is say what family it's in and swim on your merry way. Just so you know even marine biologists disagree on species ID all the time! Remember, not every photo can be identified with certainty and not every individual fish is a slam dunk. My two cents. ~ Carlos
