Is this a tam hamlet, or something else? I photographed it today on West Caicos in Turks & Caicos. Thanks.
This is not the "regular" tan hamlet, but the undescribed species called Tan Type 2. The difference is that the type 2 does not have dark spots on the nose and tail base, but it does have the drak spot at the upper base of the pectoral fin.
I also saw a few of these in Turks and Caicos, but never a "regular" tan hamlet.
