DESCRIPTION:
Two color phases, the one pictured is dark brown to red with a white stripe on second half of body. The other is dark brown with darker brown stripes.
SIZE: 1 1/2-2 1/2 ft. max. 3 ft.
Trumpetfish
Aulostomus chinensisDISTINCTIVE FEATURES: Long, thin body. 1. Trumpet-like mouth.
DESCRIPTION:
Adept at color change. Most common phase is brown to reddish brown; can be blue-gray, bright yellow or many shades between. Have pale lines, scattered small black spots, and a black streak on upper jaw.

DESCRIPTION:
A boxfish with a body outer skeleton. Black body and white spots, males have bright blue sides.

Hawaiian Whitespotted Toby

DESCRIPTION:
Yellowish brown to dark brown with numerous white spots on head and body, no spots on fins. Bright green eyes.

DESCRIPTION:
Dark body with a yellowish cast. Clear white dorsal, anal and tail fins.

Manybar Goatfish
Parupeneus multifasciatusDISTINCTIVE FEATURES: 1. Three to four wide body bars. 2. Dark streak at eye. 3. Two barbels under tip of chin.
DESCRIPTION:
Pale body with three to four body bars, bars tend to disappear at night. Dark streak at eye distinguishes it from similar looking doublebar goatfish.

Green Sea Turtle
Chelonia mydasDISTINCTIVE FEATURES: 1. One pair of plates between eyes. 2. Olive to dark brown shell with plates that do not overlap.
DESCRIPTION:
Known as honu in Hawaiian. Green sea turtles are the only commonly sighted turtle in Hawaiian waters. Many populations have been inflicted with fibropapillomatosis (FP) tumors.
