Smoky Mountain Divers Survey Trip - Introductory

Join the Smoky Mountain Divers Field Station for an introduction to fish identification and field surveys, as we head south to dive Jupiter, Florida and Blue Heron Bridge. This trip is designed for beginning fish ID students, but experienced fish ID'ers are welcome to participate. The trip package is $400 for divers and $100 for non-divers. Non-diving kids are free. the package includes 3 nights lodging (Thurs-Sat) (double occupancy), lunch Friday, 4 air fills, one - 2 tank boat dive Saturday afternoon, Reef materials for ID and Survey. We will dive Blue Heron Bridge Friday and Saturday mornings, and dive offshore Jupiter Saturday afternoon. Thursday evening will be a short presentation on fish ID techniques. Friday evening will be a presentation about Friday's survey results (U/W cameras are encouraged). Divers are responsible for their own gear and each diver must have a "safety sausage" for diving offshore. Transportation to Florida is each diver's responsibility. Trip is limited to 12 divers.
