This will be REEF's second trip to this wonderful island in the heart of Belize's Turneffe Atoll, and we can't wait to return. The all-inclusive trip includes meals, diving, and lodging at the specatular Blackbird Caye Resort, named one of Sport Diver Magazine's "2015 World's Best Diving Resorts." This is a great destination for fish watchers, with a high diversity of fishes, including several endemic species only found there. Participants will also have an oprotunity to visit the famous Blue Hole, as well as a breeding bird sanctuary. Non-diver companions will delight in the sandy beaches, pool side relaxing, and kayaking. 

Cost per person: $2,199 for double occupancy in a standard cabana. Other accommodation options include: $2,099 for double occupancy in a triplex cabana, $2,199 for double occupancy in a duplex cabana, $2,299 for double occupancy in a superior cabana. What is included: Your all-inclusive package includes 7 nights of accommodation in a cabana at Blackbird Caye Resort, 5 days of 2-tank boat dives, round-trip airport transfers, round-trip boat transportation to and from the island, three daily meals, use of resort kayaks and paddleboards, tanks, weights and weight belts.

Additional fees: A REEF Program Fee of $300 per diver will be added to each package to cover the cost of the group leaders, seminar and survey materials. Paid on premises: $31.50 per person hotel tax, $40 per person marine reserve fee, gratuities at participant's discretion. Optional nitrox available for $20 per day, optional additional dives available for $60 per tank. Optional trip to Blue Hole and Lighthouse Reef Atoll with lunch at Half Moon Caye for $200 per person (Minimum of six guests required for trip, deep diver certification required to dive The Blue Hole.)

Airport/hotel transfer information: Participants will fly into/out of Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City. From there participants will be transported to the boat, where they will have a 30 mile boat ride from the mainland to Blackbird Caye Resort. Participants should plan to arrive in Belize City before 2:30pm on Saturday, December 3. Participants may schedule departure flights out of Belize City any time after 12:30pm on Saturday, December 10.
