How to Become a Conservation Partner
Conservation Partners support REEF through an annual $100 program fee and by participating in one or more of the Conservation Actions listed below. If you are ready to become a Conservation Partner, email us at partners@REEF.org and we'll get you started.
Conservation Actions
Conservation Partners earn icons for the specific Conservation Actions they vow to perform when they enroll in the program each year. These icons will appear on your directory listing so that members of the public can see how they can get involved, as well as how your organization is helping marine conservation.

Who can be a Conservation Partner?
Conservation oriented businesses, like dive shops, dive clubs, dive charters, dive resorts, non-profit organizations, marine science centers, public aquariums, independent instructors, or other ocean science and conservation related institutions can be Conservation Partners.
Why Become a Conservation Partner?
- It’s good for business. People want to support businesses or organizations that support marine conservation. REEF will connect its worldwide membership of over 85,000 ocean enthusiasts to your organization through social media posts, public talks, and promotional materials.
- It’s good for marine life! Give your customers or community members the opportunity to contribute to marine conservation by hosting REEF events like marine life ID classes, invasive species removal events, or by simply educating them about REEF’s programs and how to get involved.
