Dive into ocean citizen science and gain hands-on experience through the REEFEducator in the Field Fellowship! This annual fellowship provides one or more educators with the opportunity to join a REEFField Survey Trip to conduct fish surveys and learn about marine life alongside volunteer citizen scientists. The 2025 Fellow will attend the REEF Field Survey Trip to Roatan, Honduras on June 28-July 5, 2025. All travel expenses are covered, including a travel stipend.
This fellowship equips educators to bring dynamic, science-based lessons to their students and communities. Fellows will gain hands-on knowledge in fish identification, behavior, and adaptations, coral reef ecology, citizen science, and data collection. The application deadline is January 5.
