REEF Volunteers of the Year

REEF volunteers are at the heart of our programs. Without dedicated citizen scientists, our marine conservation programs would not exist. They are central to the Volunteer Fish Survey Project, in which divers and snorkelers submit their sightings information to the largest marine life database in the world. REEF volunteers also conduct important marine conservation research alongside scientists as part of the Grouper Moon Project and Invasive Species Program.

Every year, REEF selects a Volunteer of the Year based on their contribution to the organization, both above and below the water. We are so thankful for our members and volunteers, who all deserve to be acknowledged for their time, generosity, and their unwavering dedication to marine conservation.
