REEF's Field Survey to the Turks and Caicos Islands is a great spring getaway and offers the chance for both beginning and advanced surveyors to advance their fish identification skills in a beautiful tropical setting. Ports of Call Resort is newly renovated with modern rooms and a luxurious pool area, just steps away from a dock leading to the gorgeous white sand of Grace Bay. Dive Provo is known for excellent service and concierge diving. The owners are longtime REEF supporters and the dive itinerary will include fantastic sites throughout the reefs surrounding the islands, including West Caicos, Northwest Point and French Cay.

What is included: Your package includes 7 nights of accommodation in a garden view suite, 5 days of 2-tank boat dives with Dive Provo, daily transfers to/from the dive dock, daily breakfast each morning, free Wi-Fi, all taxes and hotel service charges.

Additional fees: A REEF Program Fee of $300 per diver will be added to each package to cover the cost of the group leaders, seminar and survey materials. Airport transfers not included in package price, but taxis are readily available at the airport in Provo and are approximately $20 per person each way. Optional Nitrox available for $10/tank.

About the trip leader: As REEF’s Trips Program Manager, Amy organizes, plans, and promotes trips to dive destinations throughout REEF’s nine survey regions, and is also in charge of marketing for the program. Managing REEF’s Field Survey Trips Program allows Amy to merge her passions for diving, communication, science and travel, while enabling individuals to immerse themselves in REEF’s numerous conservation projects. Her unique educational background in marine science and journalism makes her an excellent steward for the marine environment. A lifelong ocean lover and travel enthusiast, Amy has experience diving and conducting surveys throughout the Caribbean, Atlantic and Indo-Pacific. She is an expert level surveyor and member of REEF’s Advanced Assessment Team for the Tropical Western Atlantic region. Amy is based at REEF Headquarters in Key Largo, Florida, where she dives and surveys in her spare time.

Airport/hotel transfer information: Participants should fly into Providenciales International Airport (PLS) in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. From there, participants may take a taxi to Ports of Call Resort. Transfers are approximately $20/person each way and are not included in the package price.
