Brewing Awareness, Fighting Invaders!

Join us at Florida Keys Brewing Co. on Saturday, August 17, from 4pm-9pm for an exciting night of raising awareness about the threat of invasive lionfish! The event is free and open to the public and will include engaging activities, artisanal and conservation vendors, delicious food and drinks, live music, and family-friendly fun. 

What to Expect

Engaging Activities: dive into a day filled with educational games, interactive booths, and engaging demonstrations about invasive lionfish and marine conservation in the Florida Keys. The event will include lionfish dissections, fillet demos, lionfish removal games, trivia, raffles, and more. 

Artisinal & Conservation Vendors: explore a variety of eco-friendly vendors offering unique goods and information about the ocean and marine conservation. 

Delicious Food & Drinks: indulge in invasive lionfish tastings and vote on your favorite dish or sip on craft brews from Florida Keys Brewing Co. $1 from every beer sold during the event will be donated to REEF's Invasive Species Program to help remove invasive lionfish and educate local communities in how to get involved. Tacos Jalisco food truck will also be present. 

Live Music: enjoy lively and festive music performances from 6-9pm. Musical artists will be announced soon!

Family-Friendly Fun: Invaders on Tap is an event suitable for all ages, with activities and entertainment tailored for both kids and adults.
