Join us for a spectacular week experiencing the best diving Hawaii has to offer aboard the luxurious Kona Aggressor II. An expert in Hawaii fish ID, Christy Pattengill-Semmens will guide novices and experts alike in learning about the amazing biodiversity of Hawaiian fishes, including the many endemic species.

Cost Per Person: Deluxe Stateroom $2,735 (double occ), Quad Stateroom $2,535

What is included: Your package includes 7 nights double occupancy accommodation aboard an 80-foot catamaran, 6 days of diving the west and south sides of the Big Island of Hawaii beginning on Sunday (up to 5 dives per day including night dives) and 2 dives on Friday, tanks and weights, and all meals aboard the ship (except dinner Friday night) including complimentary beer and wine.

Additional fees: A REEF Program Fee of $300 per diver will be added to each package to cover the cost of the group leaders, seminar and survey materials. Paid on premises: Kona International Airport (KOA) transfer to/from Kailua-Kona Village dock (approximately $20 cab fare each way), unlimited Nitrox $100 (optional), and dinner on own Friday night following Sunset Cocktail Party. Package price does not include gratuities, dive gear and photo/video equipment rentals, sundry personal purchases made from the ship’s onboard mini-boutique, or in-transit lodging.

Airport/hotel transfer information: Participants will fly into/out of Kona International Airport (KOA). Taxi transfers can be arranged at the airport and are not included in the cost of the charter. The Kona Aggressor II operates out of the downtown pier in Kailua-Kona, a 20 minute drive from KOA. The yacht will dock Saturday afternoon at the Kailua Pier between 5:30pm-6:00pm to greet passengers. Check-out is the following Saturday at 8:00am; transfers are not included but the crew can assist in arranging post-charter transportation.

About the trip leader: Dr. Christy Pattengill-Semmens is REEF’s Director of Science, and has been a part of the REEF program since its beginnings in 1993 when she was an intern for the Nature Conservancy. She has led dozens of REEF Field Surveys over the years to all of REEF’s survey project regions.
