Discover what it really means for a fish to be "smart" as we dive into the fascinating world of fish intelligence. We'll explore how fish solve problems, communicate, remember, recognize one another, and adapt to their environments. Participants will gain a new appreciation for the surprising abilities of the underwater world and learn why intelligence comes in many different forms.

Erin is a South Florida native and made Key Largo her full-time home at the age of 15. She earned a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida International University, specializing in Education, Team Management, and Biodiversity Conservation.
Join us for a free community science lesson and activity in our Science Discovery Classroom! Explore the growing issue of microplastics in our oceans and discover how invasive lionfish are helping scientists better understand this form of pollution. Participants will take part in a guided lionfish dissection to examine stomach contents and learn how researchers study the impacts of microplastics on marine ecosystems. Through this hands on experience, you'll gain a deeper understanding of ocean conservation and the role everyone can play in protecting our reefs.

Octopuses, squid, and cuttlefish take center stage in this fun and interactive evening. Learn about these incredible ocean creatures and their amazing adaptations, then get creative with a Socktopus craft workshop and leave with your very own handmade cephalopod friend.

Tobago's unique location in the southern Caribbean results in rich biodiversity. Outflow from the Orinoco River in Venezuela feeds this area with an abundance of nutrients, which in turn attracts lots of fish.
A fish has found itself stranded on land and needs your help to make it back to the ocean. Work together to solve puzzles, crack clues, and complete ocean-themed challenges as you race against the clock. Along the way, you'll test your knowledge of marine life and discover fun facts about the underwater world in this family-friendly escape room adventure.
