Join us for a free community science lesson and activity in our Science Discovery Classroom! Explore the growing issue of microplastics in our oceans and discover how invasive lionfish are helping scientists better understand this form of pollution. Participants will take part in a guided lionfish dissection to examine stomach contents and learn how researchers study the impacts of microplastics on marine ecosystems. Through this hands on experience, you'll gain a deeper understanding of ocean conservation and the role everyone can play in protecting our reefs.

Put your marine science knowledge to the test at the REEF Ocean Exploration Center during an evening of Fish Trivia. Gather your friends or join a team for a fun and friendly competition featuring questions about reef fish, marine life, ocean ecosystems, and all things underwater. Whether you're a seasoned diver or just love the ocean, there will be something for everyone. Teams may have between 1–6 participants.
Each member of the winning team will receive a limited-edition REEF T-shirt.
