Unfortunately, REEF’s Winter Lionfish Derby Event at Sharkey’s Pub and Galley for April 4, 2020 has been cancelled.
Experience some of the most exotic and sought-after dive destinations in Indonesia on this one-way Banda Sea crossing trip from Sorong to Maumere.
In consideration of the health and safety of our community, all public events at the REEF Campus, including REEF Fish & Friends, have been cancelled through the end of the April. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the REEF Campus when it becomes safe to do so. Thank you for your understanding!
Please join Janna Nichols in a presentation on the fishes of Guanaja, one of the Bay Islands of Honduras in our Tropical Western Atlantic region.
Part of a volcanic and coral mountain range, Guanaja is within the world's second-largest barrier reef, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Dive sites surround the entire island, meaning it's possible to find a site with calm water on nearly any day of the week.
Thanks for your interest in REEF Fish & Friends! We are pleased to welcome Christy Pattengill-Semmens, Ph.D., REEF Director of Science, as this month's speaker.
Join Dr. Christy Semmens in a presentation on the endemic fish of the beautiful Red Sea.
The calm, clear waters of the Red Sea are known to be a kaleidoscope of colorful fish and soft coral life. REEF's first Field Survey to this area will focus on diving in the southern Red Sea's coral gardens, walls, and lagoons, including sites like St. John's and Fury Shoal.
Join REEF staff Dr. Alli Candelmo for an update on current research findings of the invasive lionfish in the Tropical Western Atlantic.
[Originally scheduled for Wednesday, December 4th, 2019, but rescheduled due to Presenter illness]
