Learn all about the invasive lionfish during this free, online workshop. Topics include background of the invasion, lionfish biology, ecological impacts, current research, and safe collecting and handling techniques.
Following COVID-19 safety procedures, this workshop will be held completely online and will NOT include a two-tank charter dive following the online class. If you wish to participate in lionfish collection dives after the workshop, Key Dives in Islamorada, FL and Rainbow Reef in Key Largo, FL will be running lionfish dive charters on Friday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Sept. 12 for workshop participants and Lionfish Derby Teams.
