Mornings at REEF Fest offer fantastic marine adventures, like diving, snorkeling, and eco‑tours, hosted by our trusted REEF Fest Experience Partners. Please book directly with the operator of your choice; REEF is not coordinating these trips this year. Prices and policies vary and are set by the operator. Please confirm individual operator cancellation and pricing policies before booking.

Each operator offers something unique in terms of location and experience. Some trips are ideal for divers, while others are suitable for either snorkelers or divers. Saturday, Oct. 18: 2- Tank Coral Planting Dives with ICARE
Check in Time: 8:00am
Cost: $84.15 plus tax for divers and $58.65 plus tax per snorkeler (standard rate is $99 for divers and $69 for snorkelers). Gear rental and guides available for additional fee.  
If you want to plant coral on this dive, you must attend training at 7:45am on Friday, October 17 at ICARE (85960 Overseas Hwy #1, Islamorada 33037). There is an additional $25 donation for ICARE for any divers taking part in the coral planting. Divers must have at least 30 logged dives or a PPB certification. Coral planting is not available for snorkelers.

Join us to conduct fish surveys at I.CARE coral outplant sites in Islamorada .  Data collected will not only support REEF, it will also be used by I.CARE as they monitor fish population changes with increased coral coverage.

Cost: $50 per diver
Suitable for divers. Key Dives will supply cutting tools, net bags and lift bags to help keep our beautiful reefs clean!

Saturday, Oct. 18: Fish survey-focused 2-tank dive trip
Check-in Time: 7:45 am
Cost: $90 for a 2-tank dive, guide is FREE. Regular price is $100, gear is extra. $50 for snorkeling including all gear.  Regular price is $60
Suitable for snorkelers and divers. Join us to conduct fish surveys on Alligator Reef, an I.CARE coral outplant site. Data collected will not only support REEF, it will also be used by I.CARE as they monitor fish population changes with increased coral coverage.

The MarineLab Undersea Park is home to Jules’ Undersea Lab and the MarineLab Environmental Education program, along with seahorses, grouper, many invertebrates, and even the occasional manatee. We offer guided SCUBA tours including a visit to Jules’, and a Snorkel with a Marine Biologist tour.

Jules’ Mini-Mission – SCUBA dive down to the world’s only underwater habitat open to the public!  Originally a research station called La Chalupa stationed off Puerto Rico in the early 1970s, the habitat is now the only place where SCUBA divers can actually experience what it was like to live, work, and even sleep underwater.  3 hour experience includes guided tour of the Jules’ Lagoon; times and fees TBD.
