Bell is scalloped into 8 pairs of lobes. Short marginal tentacles.
White-spotted Anemone
Long yellow tentacles have pink-red tips. Tentacles appear banded with pink and yellow coloration.
Tube-dwelling Anemone

Two sets of banded tentacles are white, brown, black or orange. The anemone secretes a tube that can extend 1m (3ft) in the mud. Favorite food item of the giant nudibranch.

Strawberry Anemone
White to pink, red, orange or lavender coloration. Colonies can be up to 20 m (65 ft) wide. Attach to rocks in high current areas.

Large, aggregating, white, orange, tan, or brown anemone. M. giganteum has up to 200 translucent tentacles. It is larger than M. senile. M. senile has fewer than 100 short tentacles. Both are monitored together in survey program.

Fish-eating Anemone
Short, slender, white tentacles can be tipped with red or pink. Tall, smooth, maroon or red column.
Lacy Bryozoan
Delicate, stiff, and brittle lattice formation. On surveys, count each separate colony as an individual.
Spot Prawn
Large light to dark translucent orange body. Carapace has white stripes down its entire length.
Red Rock Crab
9 rounded “teeth” on either side of carapace. (Similar sp. Dungeness crab has 10.) Teeth are also less pointy than those of the Dungeness crab.
Northern Kelp Crab
Relatively smooth brown to reddish, shield-shaped carapace, long thin pincers. Walking legs end in sharp points.
