Join some of our most dedicated supporters by becoming a member of REEF’s Giving Club. You recognize that protecting biodiversity and ocean life requires long-term planning—planning that’s just not possible without the predictability that comes from recurring monthly donations. As part of REEF’s Giving Club, you will receive invitations to special events. Your ongoing contribution allows us to concentrate on science, monitoring, and education instead of fundraising; everybody wins and our work is more efficient. Thank you for making a difference every day in the work we do. Your monthly contribution will be deducted until you contact us to end the donation.
We want to hear from you! Please let us know what inspired you to donate, which programs are your favorites, or if this donation is in honor of a special person or event.

Make a Difference for the Oceans

The health of our oceans impacts us all, and now more than ever, it is important to take action. Thank you for supporting REEF by making a gift today so that we can continue to make a difference. REEF relies on the support of individual donors like you to ensure that we can continue our critical work to protect biodiversity and ocean life.

During our Winter Campaign, donors contributing $250 or more will receive this limited edition, signed print of the elusive Golden Hamlet, taken by Paul Humann.

Rarely sighted throughout its range in the Tropical Western Atlantic, the Golden Hamlet is a highly sought after fish for many REEF surveyors, and represents the pinnacle of REEF survey achievements. Our “Golden Hamlet Club” is a prestigious circle of REEF volunteers, made up of those who have submitted an astounding 1,000 or more surveys! As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Volunteer Fish Survey Project, the Golden Hamlet serves as a tribute to the effort and dedication of citizen scientists worldwide. We hope that Paul’s photo of this exceptional fish reminds you of how your efforts as REEF member can make a difference for marine conservation.
