Learn about unique features that can distinguish various Pacific Northwest fish and invertebrates. This online web chat will be in the format of a game where a close-up of one feature of a critter is shown and viewers can guess what critter they think it is from. ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS ARE WELCOME.
Even if you don't know ANY of the species this will be a great way for you to learn about what features you can clue in on to help you identify the species.

Participants will learn to identify the park's top 25 fish and marine critters, contributing to valuable long-term data through REEF surveys.
Autumn is a wonderful time to dive, and this is the perfect opportunity to practice your newly refreshed fish ID skills from the Zoom class on Thursday November 14. (register if you haven't already). But you don't have to attend the class to come to this dive.
We will provide identification photos and survey kits if needed.

Join REEF Volunteer Expert Jackie Myers on a special Zoom session, Thursday, November 14 at 6:30pm for a mini-review of South Puget Sound fish and invertebrates including a brief tutorial on how to enter survey results in the REEF database.
Everyone is welcome, whether new or experienced.
