We are excited to welcome the Spring 2026 Marine Education & Conservation Interns to REEF! The Interns and Fellows are based at the REEF Campus in Key Largo, and will assist with education, outreach, events, and more. Since 1993, more than 150 young adults have interned with REEF and transitioned into careers all over the world, in the marine conservation field and beyond. We are also thrilled that three of REEF's Fall 2025 Interns have continued their REEF journey as the new Marine Conservation Fellows.

KEY LARGO, FLA. – Master ceramist and public artist Sonata Kazimieraitiene to celebrate the completion of “Textures of the Tide” at the Ocean Exploration Center. Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF) will debut a new collaborative installation in The Ocean Inspires rotating exhibit at the REEF Ocean Exploration Center for Marine Conservation and invite the community to celebrate at an upcoming artist reception.
Join us for a FREE marine life education class at the Trans World Radio (TWR) Bonaire Headquarters on Thursday, January 29 at 7:00 pm AST!
The main focus of this class will be on spawning, with detailed information on two major species: the Yellowtail Parrotfish and the Ocean Surgeonfish, along with several other species that can be observed around Bonaire.

Join REEF’s Field Survey Trips Program Manager and fish enthusiast, Stacey Henderson as he shares some helpful tips on how to identify wrasses in the Mediterranean Sea! This is a great opportunity to learn more about the marine life in the Eastern Atlantic & Mediterranean survey region.
