Distinctive features:
1. Five black body bars that become narrow and faint toward belly
2. The bar at the tail is very faint and broken
3. Greenish-yellow wash on the lower sides
4. Do not confuse with Indo-Pacific Sergeant which has bold body bars with defined edges, and a strong tail bar
2. Endemic to Hawaii
