Join us for this great annual trip to Cozumel. Enjoy a week of diving in waters that have been protected as a marine park for almost 20 years. Many great fish finds await - including the endemic Splendid Toadfish, only found there. When not diving, you will enjoy all the wonderful food and culture that Mexico has to offer, as well as daily seminars by Cozumel local and long-time REEF Expert, Tracey Griffin. Cost Per Person: Safari Inn, $721 (double occ) $913 (single occ). Casa Mexicana: $783 (double occ) $1,037 (single occ)

What is included: Your package includes 7 nights of accommodation at either Safari Inn or Casa Mexicana and 6 days of 2-tank boat dives with Chili Charters (additional dives can be added onsite). Deluxe breakfast buffet is included in the Casa Mexicana package. All other meals are on your own. There are many excellent restaurants just a few steps away from both lodging options.

Additional fees:A REEF Program Fee of $300 per diver will be added to each package to cover the cost of the group leaders, seminar and survey materials. Airport transfers, ground transportation, and meals (other than breakfast if staying at Casa Mexicana) are not included. Nitrox available with advance notice for approximately $12/tank. A Marine Park Access Fee of $2.50 per person/per day will be collected onsite. Taxes and fees subject to change.

Airport/hotel transfer information:Participants will fly into/out of Cozumel (CZM) Airport. Taxi from airport is approximately $5 (8 minutes).

About the trip leader: Tracey Griffin is a REEF fish expert who is passionate about marine life. A full-time resident of Cozumel, she has led the REEF Field Survey Trip there for many years. Under Tracey’s leadership, the Cozumel Field Survey Trip is one of REEF’s most popular trips, and the only destination we return to every year. Tracey has completed over 700 surveys, is part of the Advanced Assessment Team in the Tropical Western Atlantic region, and shares her fish ID expertise in REEF Fishinars. Over the years, she has participated and contributed to all of REEF’s projects including the volunteer Fish Survey Project, Grouper Moon Project, and Invasive Lionfish Project.
