From walls adorned with spectacular corals, wrecks that are home to a diverse array of marine life, or shallow reefs teeming with tropical fish species, the dive sites of Grand Cayman will delight REEF surveyors. Participants may take advantage of the unlimited shore diving directly in front of Sunset House. While Grand Cayman has hundreds of dive sites, this destination also has plenty of activities to enjoy during surface intervals or to entertain non-divers, including Stingray City, Pedro St. James National Historic Site, Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, and the stunning 7 Mile Beach, a short taxi ride from Sunset House.

Project Focus: The purpose of this trip is to conduct fish surveys to support REEF's Volunteer Fish Survey Project. Click here to learn more about participating in fish surveys on a REEF Field Survey Trip!

Best Suited For: Divers and snorkelers. While Sunset House is known for catering to divers, the home reef has excellent snorkeling and there are plenty of topside activities available in Grand Cayman.
