- The class is open to anyone and all experience levels!
The presentation will focus on the vital roles that certain reef species play in maintaining healthy ecosystems through grazing, cleaning, and regulation. Carmen will highlight:
- Surgeonfishes & Parrotfishes – Key algae grazers
- Wrasses, Gobies, & Juvenile Angelfishes – Symbiotic cleaners essential to reef health
- Black Brotulas – Offering a fascinating glimpse into lesser-known cleaning behaviors
- Sharks – Apex predators critical for reef balance
