New Orleans Lionfish Workshop Registration

Thanks for your interest in the Lionfish Collecting and Handling Workshop in New Orleans, Louisiana. This workshop will be held at The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas (#1 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130 ) on May 6th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The workshop will cover the history of the invasion, lionfish biology, ecological impacts, venomology, how to avoid getting stung, first aid for stings, and recommended techniques for collection, handling and filleting. This workshop is made possible through funding from the US Fish and Wildlife Service and support from the Audubon Nature Institute.
