Blue-spotted Ribbontail Ray - Conservation Creature Plush
The Blue-spotted Ribbontail Ray (Taeniura lemma) have bright blue spots covering their circular bodies and several venomous spines at the tip of their tail. The spots act as a warning to potential predators. These rays have an electroreceptor system, which they use to find prey and communicate with other members of their species. They are found in tropical waters, including REEF’s CIP and SOP regions.
