In celebration of our third annual Fish Out of Water 5K taking place June 6-12, we're teaming up with Florida Keys Brewing Company to host an ocean-themed trivia night. No running is necessary - just gather a group of friends, choose a trivia team name, and come share your knowledge! You can also pick up this year's limited-edition 5K shirt by registering in person or making a donation to support the event.

Join the South Carolina Aquarium for their inaugural JuLionfish Derby + Festival, a month-long culling competition for divers followed by an all-inclusive, 21+ festival at the South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston, SC! Proceeds benefit South Carolina Aquarium Reef Research, a program aimed at generating awareness and supporting fieldwork opportunities to sustain a balanced ocean. JuLionfish is a REEF-sanctioned event.

REEF is teaming up with Florida Keys Brewing Company to host a fun trivia night at the FKBC taproom. The event is free and open to the public, and prizes will be given to top-ranked teams. For every pint sold during the event, $2 will be donated to REEF in support of our marine conservation programs. We hope to see you there!

Learn how to safely conduct lionfish removals by attending a REEF Invasive Lionfish Collecting & Handling Workshop.

Workshops include a classroom portion that covers background on the invasion, lionfish biology, ecological impacts, current research, and collecting and handling techniques. After we wrap up the classroom portion of the workshop, we will head out to the water for a 2-tank dive to put our skills to work.
