Our 17th Annual Florida Keys Lionfish Derby will culminate in a Family Friendly Conservation Science and Arts Festival.

This is a training session for the Docent Program for the Ocean Exploration Center! The training will take 2-3 hours and include a tour of the Center, a background on the content areas and exhibits, as well as Facilitation and Interpretation practice.

We are holding a Virtual Interest Meeting for Docents this Wednesday, May 7th at 6:00 PM! As the Ocean Exploration Center nears its opening, we are creating a new Docent program that is dedicated to the new building. Docents will engage with visitors surrounding the content in the center, help facilitate different activities, and assist with any operational needs in the retail area. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with people in the community and visitors to the Florida Keys, and share your love of the ocean.
