We are excited to welcome our Spring 2026 Marine Education & Conservation Interns to REEF! They will assist with education, outreach, events, and more at the REEF Ocean Exploration Center in Key Largo. Since 1993, more than 150 young adults have interned with REEF and transitioned into careers all over the world, in the marine conservation field and beyond. Please join us in welcoming Sammy, Rebecca, Stacie, and Harrison (pictured from L-R). Here's some more about them:

Join us for a FREE marine life education class at the Trans World Radio (TWR) Bonaire Headquarters on Thursday, January 29 at 7:00 pm AST! 

The main focus of this class will be on spawning, with detailed information on two major species: the Yellowtail Parrotfish and the Ocean Surgeonfish, along with several other species that can be observed around Bonaire.

What to Expect:

Join REEF’s Field Survey Trips Program Manager and fish enthusiast, Stacey Henderson as he shares some helpful tips on how to identify wrasses in the Mediterranean Sea! This is a great opportunity to learn more about the marine life in the Eastern Atlantic & Mediterranean survey region.
