The workshop is 10:00am-Noon at Monty's Seafood,. The dive is 1:00pm-5:00pm at RJ Diving. Both locations are at 300 Alton Rd, Miami Beach, FL, 33139. The special price for workshop attendees is $45.00 for the 2 location collecting dive, $65.00 if tanks and weights are needed. REEF staff will be along to demonstrate collecting and handling tools and techniques.

Federal and state fisheries lift spearfishing restrictions in certain areas for REEF's lionfish derby. 

A segment featuring REEF's research on the invasion of the Indo-Pacific Lionfish into the western Atlantic and Caribbean was featured on NBC Nightly News June 30th. Click here to view the segment online.
