Heppell-REEF Marine Conservation Internship Scholarship Application
The Heppell-REEF Marine Conservation Internship Scholarship is a funding opportunity for this year's summer internship applicants. Through this exceptional opportunity, the selected individual will receive free housing throughout the internship and a monthly stipend to assist with living expenses during the program.
The Heppell sponsored internship will take place during the summer semester which will run from May 24 - August 13. General internship application guidelines, outlined on the REEF Internship Description page, will apply. Preference will be given to Oregon State University (OSU) students and recent alumni. Secondary preference will be given to non-OSU students from a traditionally underserved population in education including first-generation, low-income, and minority students, or those with other extenuating circumstances. The application can be found here.
Our World Underwater Scholarship Society / REEF Marine Conservation Internship
Each year, Our World Underwater Scholarship Society (OWUSS) supports five summer internships, one of them being the REEF Marine Conservation Internship in Key Largo. Through this exceptional opportunity, OWUSS provides a $2,000 stipend to cover travel and living expenses during the internship.
Please visit the OWUSS website for more information and to apply. It is possible to apply for both the OWUSS/REEF Internship and the REEF Marine Conservation Internship so that you can be considered for the unpaid REEF Internship in case you are not selected for the OWUSS/REEF scholarship.
Other General Marine Conservation Scholarship Sources
While these organizations do not support REEF Internships directly, you could apply these scholarship funds to internship expenses.
