Bequia is one of the best-kept secrets of the Grenadines, surrounded by a fringing coral reef teeming with diverse aquatic life and a complement of wrecks, and swim-throughs. Enjoy a more personalized experience with a smaller boat and group size as well as short boat rides. Plantation Hotel is on a prime beachfront location, secluded at the southern end of Admiralty Bay, and has one of the most breathtaking views on the island.

Best Suited For: Divers and Non-divers. There is a lot of top-side beauty and non-diving activities to enjoy on the island. Boat space is limited to divers only.

Accommodations: Participants will be staying at the Plantation Hotel. Room types include Main House Garden View, Main House Sea View, Beach Front Villa, and Beach Suites. Each room hosts a private en-suite bathroom, and a queen or a king bed. Please see the links above for details descriptions of the rooming options. Please note that there is only one bed per room. 

Diving: Diving will be done with Bequia Dive Adventures. There will be six days of two tank morning dives starting on Sunday, May 17 ending on Friday, May 23. The average water temperature is in the low 80s and a 1-3mm wetsuit is recommended. Tanks, weights, and weight belts are included in the cost of the package.

Your Package Includes:  The trip package includes seven nights of accommodation at Bequia Plantation Hotel, 6 days of 2 boat morning dives with Bequia Dive Adventures, breakfast daily, roundtrip airport transfers, tanks, and weights.

REEF Program Fee: A REEF Program Fee of $300 per diver will be added to each package to cover the cost of the group leader, seminar, and REEF survey materials.

Additional Fees - Not Paid to REEF: The following costs are not included in the price paid to REEF. All flights and associated travel to and from Bequia, rental equipment, and meals outside of breakfast. Gratuities are not included in the trip package and are at each individual's discretion.

Bequia Travel Info

Insurance: Travel insurance is not included. REEF strongly recommends that each participant purchase adequate dive travel insurance to protect you from unforeseen circumstances. REEF partners with both DiveAssure and DAN to offer travel insurance packages specifically for divers. REEF will receive a portion of the proceeds from travel insurance purchases when you click on the following affiliate links for DiveAssure or DAN.

How to Get There:  Participants should make arrangements to arrive on Saturday, May 17, and depart the following Saturday, May 24. There are a few ways to get to Bequia including, taking a ferry from St. Vincent or taking a flight from St. Lucia or Barbados. Please consult the Bequia Tourism Association for additional details. All participants are responsible for booking their own flights. REEF is not able to book airfare.

Transfers: Round-trip ground transfers between your arrival point, Harbor/Airport, are included in the package.

Passports, Documentation, and Visas: Visitors to Bequia must present a valid passport and show a return ticket on arrival. Please refer to the appropriate consulate for the requirements to enter Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

COVID-19 Considerations: It is the participant's responsibility to ensure that they understand and comply with all local requirements (for entry and visit as a tourist) of the host destination, and for exit and entry requirements for their home country. Be prepared for your plans to change. Be sure your travel insurance covers COVID-related issues. No travel is risk-free during the COVID-19 pandemic. Countries may further restrict travel or bring in new rules at short notice, for example, due to a new COVID-19 variant. Please be aware that REEF is not a travel agent.
